Sisters

I received an order not long ago to paint two sisters for their Birthdays. It was such an honor and really very fun! Their mom gave me some information about each girl's personality and I was able to do whatever I wanted from there. 

I wrote up something based off of the information given to me by their mother. I tried to use as many of her own words as possible.

This was such a special project to me. I prayed for each girl as I painted layer by layer. I don't even know these two precious little girls but I felt as if I did by the time I was finished.

For the blond sister I used a morning glory seed packet in her hair, modeling paste, old book pages and acrylic paints. 

 

  

 

For the sister with brown hair I used an old map from a phone book, a button, old books, and acrylic paints.

These girls will always be special to me.
